The Day After Roswell
Obviously, there was no way that Disclosure Day was going to be able to live up to the hype that Hollywood and the people in the internet had put behind it since it was announced. With the amount of buildup and a name like Steven Speilberg attached to it, one might have thought that the movie itself is intended as actual disclosure for homo-sapiens who need “authority” figures to tell them something is so before they can accept that it is so. For most on the topic of disclosure that would be the play pretend governments finally admitting humans are not alone and for the rest it is apparently the movie magick from Beverly Hills. That being said, Your Humble Author, Narrator & Fictional Character still thought it was worth the price of admission on an otherwise sloppy weathered weekend & what follows will be more of a think piece on the subject with spoilers, rather than a movie review.
After viewing the film I can say that it has made apparent to me that Steven Speilberg had the advantage of being the first to bring certain concepts to the big screen with the budget to build with the big toys in the 80’s. However, this film, meant to be a kind of magnum opus, in an age where anything in the imagination can be put on film with CGI has made it obvious that he isn’t truly the greatest storyteller in the industry as often touted. Sure, with the limitations of practical effects back when he made his name he no doubt earned the title of a celluloid sorcerer. But after walking out of Disclosure Day the impact for Yours Truly was but a shrug & admission that there were no mind-blowing plot points or revelations to ponder as promised. The movie, as a movie, was simply so-so but for people such as me who have been fascinated by the subject matter for a lifetime there was nothing new here. Especially for those who have read Philip Corso’s book “The Day After Roswell”.
In the book, retired U.S. Army Intelligence Officer, Corso, lays out before the reader that the powers that were did in fact retrieve tangible, nuts and bolts technology as well as non-human biologics that fateful night in Roswell, New Mexico. As we would expect from the military industrial complex’s primary buyer, rather than being transparent to the American people, they opted to implement the weather balloon coverup and proceeded to reverse engineer the technology & put it in the hands of private corporations for development and slow, drip dissemination to the public. Corso claims that from the wreckage these corporations were able to develop things such as Kevlar, fiber optics, integrated circuit chips, lasers, night vision technology, particle beam technology, directed energy weapon concepts and a slew of other doo-hickies that caused the massive exponentiation of technology in general since 1947. The benefactors of this retrieved technology consisted of Bell Labs, IBM, Hughes Aircraft, Lockheed, Motorola, Monsanto, General Electric, Westinghouse, RCA, AT&T, Northrop, McDonnell Douglas, TRW & various other unnamed defense contractors to name a few.
Again, if you haven’t read the book I highly recommend it and if truth be told I found Corso’s testimony to be very credible & the book as a whole the final puzzle piece any seeker would need to make the complete picture regarding the question of visitation or the UFO\UAP phenomenon in our modern era of America. Homo-sapiens would predictably take exotic material they find and first seek to make a profit from it and second build the weapons to maintain & protect that profit. Who needs to feed, clothe, shelter and cure the ailments of the masses with such things, right? Regardless, this scenario is primarily the bulk of Disclosure Day’s plot so the only moviegoers who might find it a novel idea are the ones who have never heard of this probability from Corso’s book at all. Essentially the film is “The Day After Roswell” if the book had one, long, chase sequence written within it.
Another concept I think Spielberg intended to be some great revelation is that of hybridization among experiencers, as the two protagonists of Disclosure Day ultimately discover they themselves are the result of such a program. Again, this is no jaw-dropping idea for those who have been researching the subject for any length of time or cut their conspiracy teeth watching the X-Files back in the day. For good measure Disclosure Day even tossed in some remote viewing, walk-in hijacking, and technology so advanced it appears as magick. All of these phenomena are very old news for those in the know. Which really only left a couple of things one might be going to see in this film; how disclosure might occur & why disclosure might occur.
Spielberg’s Dream
The “how” Disclosure Day presents is a massive data dump from 79 years of classified files & films via every major news network in the world with the cherry on top of a grey alien of the Zeta Reticula variety making a live appearance to deliver a telepathic message through the two primary protagonists. Spielberg’s grand finale is a montage of monitors going back and forth from black and white footage in Roswell, to modern military surveillance of UAP’s performing aerial feats beyond physics. Orbs, discs, pyramids, & formless lights phasing in an out of our reality are delivered to the masses of “normies” through television screens & smart phones all at once causing a humanity on the brink of World War III to literally stop in it’s tracks on the way to self-annihilation to process what it is collectively being shown. Which sets up Spielberg’s “why” of disclosure.
Disclosure Day heavily implies within its paradigm that the grey aliens, most commonly discussed, are a singular race or species of extraterrestrials we are dealing with but doesn’t exclude the idea of a more Star-Trek universe, where the universe is teeming with new worlds & civilizations. For the sake of disclosure, Spielberg sticks to the boomer mythos of “little green men” in flying saucers showing up around the end of World War II as a result of having great concerns regarding mushroom clouds. He also paints these grey visitors having a hue of non-interventionalist, thus being the reason that up until present they have chosen to remain in the shadows to the mass of mankind; hoping, guiding and nudging their subjects like caring parents over firm & powerful dictation from extraterrestrial tyrants. Spielberg’s grey aliens want us to “play pretty” as your mama would say. Get our shit together & get along.
Disclosure Day presents Steven Spielberg’s aspiration that something higher than humanity has hope in humanity. That it is invested in empathizing with creatures less evolved than it with intentions to help guide an infant race to the big leagues like them. He wants disclosure to happen in this fashion and for this fashion because the guy seems to me to be quite the optimist when it comes to the subject matter altogether. And more power to him for it. We should all hope that in this dream of disclosure he might have a point. If we are not alone we best wishfully think “They” are here to help because what horror would lie on the other side of the coin? Men’s hearts will fail them to think upon the idea that technology & consciousness far above Earth’s current tech-monkeys is here to provoke some fuck around and find out-ism.
The film presents a possible outcome from disclosure that I have heard more than a few reviewers dub “boomerish” & I certainly agree. It’s some pretty mainstream ideas of extraterrestrial contact that thinks its still edgy because it pulls in the question of what this would do to religion or people’s concepts of “God”. Which yes, is obviously some boomer thinking and nowhere near as innovative or provocative as Steven Spielberg might have thought when making the movie. Those of us in the “space” (pun somewhat intended) of this subject matter are well beyond such questions and have settled these matters through firsthand experience ourselves. Thus, dissolving the walls of compartmentalization that church & state have so studiously tried to build between such thoughts.
The Experiencer’s Dilemma
For myself, the far more fascinating question isn’t how disclosure occurs or why disclosure occurs but who it is that would need disclosure in the first place? To better explore this question, I think it would benefit you, Dear Reader, to know that this question comes from a person who doesn’t need disclosure at all. Especially not from corporations for profit parading as government & their partnering non-profit 501C3’s pretending to be institutions of faith. I need not share a consensus reality with a collective to know that humanity is most certainly not alone but is in fact surrounded by life we are now calling non-human intelligence to account for the multiverse with all that entails. This reality is not a matter of faith for experiencers but a state of knowledge.
Those who have had our own encounters of the first, second, third, or fourth kind aren’t waiting for validation from the White House or T.V. screens so much as we want those who have not to stop throwing us into psyche wards or dowsing us in holy water from their own ignorance. It’s more of a desire to have the obvious as common knowledge among the herd for our own self-preservation when trying to relay to the world the sum of our experiences and what the overall impact on the world the reality of non-human intelligence has made, is making and will continue to make. We know that there certainly is no conflict between spirituality & science on this topic, as it’s apparent to us both are saying the same thing with different words. To experiencers the “Holy Books” of old are the largest library of UFO accounts & encounters grander than any data dump we could possibly get from the pentagon.
After all, the central character of the Christian faith proclaims himself an alien to this world & his followers transformed into hybrids by virtue of assimilating the Gnosis he brings. The Bible is filled with various species of non-human intelligence ranging from Watchers, Cherubim, Seraphim, Nephilim, demons and beyond. Just the 66 books alone are a smorgasbord of UFO/UAP encounters which should force any literalist to not simply admit aliens exist but realize they have always played vital roles in our mutual history on this planet as well as beyond. This perception was the very driving force which compelled me to write “Then Came the Flood” circa 2012; to assist readers in making the connections from angels to aliens with the backdrop of the antediluvian incursions as its setting. The details of which recently have been going viral with hashtags of Enoch.
Interestingly enough the research into such matters seemed to me to be preparation for the days that would come when Your Humble Author, Narrator & Fictional Character would need to process them in real time as many of the reported kinds of phenomena in UFO\UAP discussions did in fact become a reality in my own experience. What I mean to say is, it was essential for my head knowledge to be firm and in place before the Great Gig in the Sky opened the windows of the heavens for translations of my own. Believing first allowed me to subsequently see, whereas those who are waiting for disclosure have it the other way around. They are waiting for permission to see from Big Brother before they can even conceive with their minds what kind of existence is actually all around them. Hearing they hear not. Seeing they see not. Which is why those who “need” full disclosure will probably never receive it. Disclosure is not a shared collective experience until all individuals experience it through themselves singularly. Only on the other side of that hourglass’ singularity is the reality of other life, other worlds, other dimensions a shared construct.
The Ones Waiting
Think about how ridiculous it is to perceive disclosure as only being official if it comes from the mouthpieces of the church or state to begin with. Organizations which have now been fully exposed for being the biggest mass producers of misinformation, disinformation & blatant lies on the planet throughout all of history. What kind of naïve shit for brains allows these institutions to be their barometer of truth anyway? And more to the point; who in their right mind would believe that advanced non-human intelligence would even consider making first contact with the clowns in congress or joint chiefs of any staff, much less utilize them to be the transmission of their arrival or presence on the planet? Advanced consciousness from throughout the cosmos isn’t interested in discussing much of anything with the buffoons behind war, scarcity, or hyper-inflation galore which has brought humanity to its knees. If they have the means and the desire to arrive here from there, wherever there is, it is laughable to think they would make a public touchdown and formal introduction on the same lawn some so called “leader” is building a UFC arena upon.
The irony of it all is that over the past few years in congressional hearings and as recently as this week, the United States gubment has been giving the people disclosure with testimony and footage to boot. They have come out and openly said we are not alone, they have retrieved craft or technology and there are at least five races who have visited us that they know of…and yet, this is still not considered as official disclosure by those who apparently require it. It still has not caused any massive, planetwide pause to ponder this predicament enough to stop homo-sapiens from speed-running extinction. So even when Big Brother sits the masses down and tells them point blank, they’ve been lying to them all along, and yes, the world is far, far stranger than they were indoctrinated to believe, it isn’t enough to force a collective evolution. No number of photos with exotic craft in 4K is able to take collective consciousness from the caves & put them in the stars because it is that very mindset an Individual must evolve past.
Full disclosure can only truly be had through firsthand experiential knowledge. The scales must fall from eyes one at a time, yet afterwards those who have seen and do see can certainly see one another. And they can also see so much more beyond that. Disclosure is not a day for them. It is not a moment in time that will come and will pass. No, disclosure for those who are worthy of disclosure, interacting with non-human intelligence has already become the status quo. Experiencers are just waiting for some others to finally catch up and welcome them to a world beyond their wildest dreams.
